27 Feb Sportlov activities
As you know during Sportlov, IFALL’s activities were a bit changed. Let’s have a look on two of them.
IFALL first monthly intercultural activity took place on Wednesday 24th February. The idea is to organise an event every month to gather Örkelljunga’s inhabitants, to provide a space to meet each other and to get to know each other better by discovering different cultures and traditions and doing something together. These upcoming events aim at creating a safe space and friendly atmosphere. They will be organised around monthly themes/topics and they will take place in different locations. The program will be soon available.
The first intercultural activity took place at ELM – Missionhuset. The topic was carnival. It was chosen because it is an important tradition in a lot of countries throughout the world. Participants from different age groups (from 16 to 83 years-old!)and origins learned more about these carnival traditions from Spain, France, Italy, the Caribbean’s, and Brazil. They created carnival masks and played different kind of games and challenges. Come have fun with us at our next event 🙂

During Sportlov, “leka för barn”, the sport activity that takes place every Thursday evening in Lilhallen, took place exceptionally on Thursday morning. Our volunteers prepared a path with small obstacles and different activities for children.
