The strategic partnership SILVIA is a two year KA2 strategic that aims to empower women of different age groups and different needs by an intergenerational learning approach, which enables women to improve their basic skills. Each woman has different competencies that they are often not fully aware of and at the same time we consider that it is never too late to improve personal competences based on the idea of lifelong learning. By an innovative learning approach we want to bring together young women in NEET (Not in Education Employment or Training) with senior volunteers engaged in local NGOs and non-formal trainers to valorise their competencies with the help of the autobiographical method and by learning in intergenerational pairs.
The project involves organisations from 6 different countries; Sweden, France, Croatia, Portugal, Turkey and Italy. Each organisation has specific competencies and experience related with the topic of the project.
